My Lulu has really bad skin allergies. I have tried bathing her with Oatmeal based shampoo's, Relief shampoo...and I give her Brewers Yeast every day. The Vet gave her an allergy shot last month but that didn't last but a few days. Nothing seems to keep her from itching. She's chewing her hair off and causing bloody patches on her skin!

I had a toy poodle with same problem, one day while I was at work he even chewed ALL the hair off of his paws!! They looked like little rat feet, the poor guy. The vet gave me shampoo called Pyroben. I used it once a week on him, it makes their fur very soft, too. I also used a spray with hydrocortisone in it that I got at the pet store, for "hot spots". That worked for me. If your vet does not have the Pyroben in stock, they can order it. Good Luck.
