BRUTAL TORTURE & CUTTING ALIVE of an 8 year old loving & friendly DOG (Female) on J.N.U. CAMPUS, DELHI by a resident Phd student from NE State.
On July 7 2008 night a student from N E India, whose name is YORONSU,
male 31 years of age in the dept of School of Social Sciences, JNU doing Phd)along with two other students, on the campus of J.N.U.
(Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi) TORTURED and bludgeoned a 8 year old black, female dog for more than 1 and half hours, with a cricket bat and rods till she was all in blood and her head swollen to twice the size. Then the three of them CUT HER INTO MANY pieces while she was alive and her mouth was stuffed up with a cloth and tied.
First she was lured from the ground floor to the upper floor using biscuits as bait and then locked up in their hostel room where this entire incidence took place.
The HOSTEL WARDEN and other students discovered this while the act was still going and when the cries of the poor dog reached other rooms and blood started flowing out. Some students immediately called the police van which was stopped at the gates of the campus and then after the body was disposed off were allowed inside.
All students and the warden were instructed not to give any statements to the press or the media. There is enough proof and witnesses
on campus to authenticate the incidence.
After much investigation a complaint has been filed with the police station of vasant vihar. But till date no action has been taken by the police.
The students also did an on spot signature campaign and got signatures
of students who saw the body and others who know about the act.
Despite all these efforts the JNU AUTHORITIES are not cooperating and on the other hand have in fact become a party to the act by disposing off the body of the dog on their own and BY DESTROYING all evidence that was there.
Just to settle the matter they got a formal confession from the student which says that he killed the dog in self defense, which is a made up story as the body was found in the students locked room on the upper floor under the horrible conditions as described in the account by the student.
The student who used to feed the dog for many years is all in tears as
she was the most loving and harmless dog on the campus and hence the chosen victim.
The Times of India newspaper and India TV news channel are helping
us to raise the issue to the public and police so that they take action and
take both the JNU authorities and the 3 students involved to task.
The other students on the campus say that this is a regular activity on
the campus of JNU and many dogs and puppies have died this death
and that the J.N.U. administration is least bothered all the time.
We will try our best to go to the highest authorities to get these culprits punished.
We seek your help to write to the JNU authorities at the following
emails ids and also call them to demand the following :
a) Expell the student from the university and black list him.
b) Do not accept his PHd which he is going to submit on July 20 2008and do not allow his guide to sign his PHD.
c) Cancel his Masters and Bachelors degrees
d) SUBMIT A CHARGESHEET AGAINST HIM WITH
THE POLICE AND GET HIM ARRESTED.

ONLY A PUBLIC MASS SCALE PARTICIPATION AND APPEAL CAN BRING THIS POOR DOGS DEATH'S TO JUSTICE AND STOP THIS ONGOING BRUTAL SLAUGHTER OF POOR DOGS AND CATS FOR MEAT & PLEASURE.
OTHERWISE THIS DEATH WILL BE FORGOTTEN LIKE MANY OTHERS AND THESE PEOPLE WILL GET THE CONFIDENCE TO REPEAT SUCH ACTS IN THE OPEN THE NEXT TIME. THEY ARE NOT STUDENTS BUT HARD CORE CRIMINALS OF TOMORROW. WE HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO GET THEM ARRESTED BUT HAS FAILED SO FAR. ONLY A MASS UPROAR CAN DO SOMETHING NOW.
OTHERWISE WE SHOULD GIVE UP THIS SO CALLED ACT OF ANIMAL
WELFARE AND STOP CALLING OURSELVES ANIMALS LOVERS.
WE CANT EVEN LEGALLY AVENGE A DOGS BRUTAL AND GRUESOME MURDER !..
